Membership in ABRA
ABRA welcomes relocation-related companies in Belgium, Europe, and world-wide. One of the objectives of ABRA is to promote quality standards to ensure the delivery of a professional level of service to clients. Your membership demonstrates to potential clients that you support this goal.
Your membership also shows other ABRA and EuRA members that you adhere to the code of ethics and are willing to be held accountable for your services.
ABRA membership is meant for all Belgian companies that take relocation seriously. For the customer, choosing an ABRA member is essential to make sure that the relocation will be done in a professional way!
Candidate-members are subject to admission criteria prior to their final membership. Their companies will be subject to an investigation by ABRA, and they have to uphold the highest standards in the industry. In case of non-conformity, ABRA will organise a round table amongst members and the candidate-member will be invited and given the opportunity to defend the application.
Membership is growing and includes Relocation Service Providers whose services are designed to facilitate and support the mobility of individuals and their families, as well as affiliated services, such as banks, schools, furniture hire, car leasing, short term accommodation, etc.Full Membership
Belgian individuals or firms who have been offering relocation services for longer than two years. It is essential to be a member of EuRA to be a full member of ABRA. The annual fee for Full Membership is €250 plus VAT.
Local Membership
Belgian Individuals or firms who agree to abide by the ABRA Rules of Conduct and who can provide:
- Two sponsors who are ABRA members in good standing. One sponsor must be an ABRA Full member.
- Two references from corporate customers for whom work has been carried out in the last 12 months.
Affiliate Membership
For those individuals or firms worldwide offering a product or service which supports the activity of a relocation company. We request that prospective Affiliate members are sponsored by one of the relocation company members of ABRA. The annual fee for Affiliate Membership is €350 plus VAT.
Real Estate Affiliate Membership
For ABRA Affiliate Members who act as selling or letting agents and who have a valid BIV/IPI number. We request that prospective Real Estate Affiliate members are sponsored by one of the relocation company members of ABRA. Real Estate Affiliate members must also agree to abide by the following rules:

Members shall not misrepresent themselves or their class of membership or the services they offer.

Members shall not use the ABRA logo or the ABRA name without clear mention that they are an Affiliate Member in the Real-Estate category.

Members shall not seek business or conduct business by improper or illegal means.
The annual fee for Real Estate Affiliate Membership is €350 plus VAT.
